These four paintings differ from the previous ones by the subject of their inspiration. They were influenced by the Japanese culture through the discovery of the animes, animation series adapted from mangas (Japanese comics).
The first anime I saw was the famous Naruto anime , discovered in May 2007 while the second season was just starting in France. Of course, I was moved by the tragic story of the mysterious Gaara, inhabited by the legendary demon Ichiba and sentenced to live in a world that will be hostile to him throughout his childhood. From that story was born Gaara's Eye.
In the third painting, it is the anime Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLe which has been the source of my inspiration, and especially the character of Yuko Ichihara, the charismatic witch of the dimensions who is able to grant any wishes. She also appears in another CLAMP anime called XXXHOLiC.
Ces quatre tableaux se diffèrent de la précédente série par le sujet de leur inspiration. Ils ont été influencés par la culture japonaise à travers la découverte des "animés". Le terme provient du français "dessin animé" et désignent ces séries d'animation souvent adaptées de mangas (bande dessinée japonaise).
Mon tout premier animé a été le célèbre Naruto, découvert en mai 2007 alors qu'il entamait sa deuxième saison. Et bien sûr, j'ai été émue par la tragique histoire du mystérieux Gaara, habité par le légendaire démon Ichibi et condamné à vivre dans un monde qui lui sera hostile toute son enfance. De cette histoire est né alors L'oeil de Gaara.
Dans le troisième tableau, c'est l'anime Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLe qui en a été la source d'inspiration, et tout particulièrement le personnage de Yûko Ichihara, la charismatique sorcière des dimensions, capable d'exaucer les voeux, que l'on retrouve dans un autre anime de CLAMP : XXXHOLiC.
