The order / L'ordre
A multitude of golden threads streching out and crossing over endlessly, without ever changing their direction. Only one direction for each of them. From their interaction was a cercle born, unique and perfect. And each of the threads is making this cercle, allowing this open space to let the light go through it.
Une multitude de fils dorés, tendus, qui se croisent à l'infini, sans jamais dévier de leur trajectoire. Une seule direction pour chacun d'entre eux. De leur interaction naît un cercle, unique, parfait. Et chacun de ces fils constitue ce cercle, permettant à cet espace ouvert de laisser passer la lumière.

The disorder / Le désordre
The treads have lost their direction. They no longer cross, they get tangled, they tie knots and prevent light to go through. They are no longer made of gold but of darkness. Their tangling makes a broken line that seems to hod them motionless.
Les fils ont perdu leur direction. Il ne se croisent plus, ils s'enchevêtrent, forment des noeuds et entravent la lumière. Eux-mêmes ne sont plus faits d'or mais d'obscurité. Leur enchevêtrement est une ligne brisée qui semble les tenir en immobilité.

Modelage / Modelage
My first go to sculpture, as far as I am concerned. After a difficult start, I then let my hands go and find their way to shape this clay that was first cold and sticky. The piece of art was supposed to evoque the following notions : the strength and fragile, the empy and full, the rough and smooth.
Mes premiers essais à la sculpture, en ce qui me concerne. Après un début difficile, mes mains ont finalement trouvé leur chemin pour donner forme à cette terre au départ froide et collante. La pièce abstraite devait évoquer les trois notions suivantes : la robusté et la fragilité, le vide et le plein, le rugueux et le lisse.

Why Foot in Transe ? Pourquoi Pied en Transe ?

When it is ointed it is protection and bare it shows respect. When it is washed it is a sign of welcome and unwrapped a declaration of love. When it dances on points it is strength and on high heels, it is sensuality. Revealed or hidden, it is permanent contact. Dancing like a flame, following the impulse, moving backward and forwards like a wave, it is always carrying us and transporting us to another place.
Lorsqu'il est oint, il est protection et nu, il montre le respect. Lorsqu'il est lavé, il est signe d'accueil et découvert, une déclaration d'amour. Lorsqu'il danse sur pointes, il est force et sur des hauts talons, il est la sensualité. Révélé ou dissimulé, il est le contact permanent. Dansant comme une flamme, suivant l'élan, avançant et reculant somme une vague, il nous porte et nous transporte toujours autre part.
Pollock-style dripping / Dripping à la manière de Pollock
The painting is moving freely. It is not spread out nor dragged anymore, it happens. The gesture is becoming stronger and yet at the same time it is released. What happens no longer matters really, only the direction counts.
La peinture devient fluide. Elle n'est plus traînée ni déposée, elle advient. Le geste prend de la force et en même temps gagne en lâcher prise. Ce qui arrive importe peu vraiment, seule la direction compte.
